Renee Hayden is a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse and Family Therapist, with a diverse and extensive clinical background firmly cemented in mental health across all age groups and Alcohol & Other Drugs. She specialises in depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, LGBTIQA+, CALD, Australia’s First Peoples, children, youth and families.

Renee is the CEO of APMHA Health Care Ltd, and works one day per week at Alaya House – Head To Help program in Shepparton.

Hayley Fitzgerald is part of the AIIM Choices team providing NDIS Plan Management and specialised assistance surrounding NDIS applications. Hayley is focused on doing the best for her NDIS participants and is committed to providing services that empower people to develop their potential. Hayley believes in providing personalised support typical of regional Australian communities.

Hayley has a Bachelor of Health Sciences, a Certificate IV in Disability and is currently completing a Masters of Health and Human Services. Dr Shanel Few

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Shanel Few is a Clinical Psychologist, a Fellow of the APS Clinical College and a Board Approved Supervisor. Dr Few is currently working in private practice in Shepparton.

Margaret Lingard

Marg Lingard has practiced as a registered general and mental health nurse for 25 yrs+. Marg has worked in a variety of roles including: acute inpatient units in Victoria and Queensland, worked in Community Mental Health in Case Management, Acute Response Teams and Triage. Marg has also worked in Forensic in a 2IC position working across 2 prison sites in Victoria for over 4 years. Marg worked in Primary Mental Health for several years before transitioning to APMHA Health Care in 2017.  Marg is working across a number of programs, PTS, MH-CCC and  Older Minds Mental Health Program providing support to these clients.
 
Marg has a keen interest in Meditation and Mindfulness and how these practices benefit mental health and recovery by empowering clients with a sense of internal strength, resilience and peace.

Liane Margis

More about Liane
Liane Margis is a psychiatric nurse with around 30 years of experience. She has worked in public and private hospital settings and public and private community settings as a counsellor/psychotherapist, hypnotherapist and music therapist.
Having travelled more on the education rather than the management field. Liane has travelled around Victoria training staff in psychiatric facilities and has also been involved in training police. In her later role of psychiatric nurse consultant for a large public health facility, Liane was involved in running and teaching the graduate nurse program, coordinating student nurses and writing and training programs in aggression management, communication and working with people who have mental health problems, across all areas and campuses of the facility. She has also trained people in other areas, such as ASIST, BLS, Counselling, and stress management, amongst others.
Liane moved into private practice in 2008, where she worked with a number of Medical Clinics under the Mental Health Nurse Incentive Program seeing clientele for case management, counselling and psychotherapy. She moved to Shepparton to take a position as Dual Diagnosis coordinator several years ago and is now working in private practice, which she loves.

Talia Humphrey

Mental Health Occupational Therapist

Talia Humphrey is an occupational therapist with professional experience in a number of mental health settings, vocational rehabilitation, and disability services. She is a qualified mental health clinician with experience in psychosocial rehabilitation, case management and private practice settings (including counselling young people at Headspace, and therapeutic supports for NDIS participants).
She has also gained extensive experience through travels abroad, volunteering with several NGOs and social enterprises; such as community development projects, women’s projects, children’s homes, a spinal clinic, and a care farm for children with disabilities.

Within her work Talia uses a trauma informed approach in establishing a safe therapeutic space, offering choice and encouraging agency for each individual. Some of her areas of interest include sensory and nature-based approaches to emotional regulation; and contemplative approaches to self-inquiry. She is also a trained facilitator in an evidence-based trauma informed yoga therapy (Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga).

Through an occupational therapy lens of ‘doing’, ‘being’, ‘belonging’ and ‘becoming’, Talia enjoys supporting people to enhance balance and wellbeing, strengthen connections with themselves and others, and create greater sources of meaning and richness in their lives.
